The Scottish Universities Snowsports Committee, or SUSC, are a collection of skiers and boarders from Scottish Universities who have banded together to bring you events and support throughout the year.
The main thing SUSC does is organises the Scottish Universities Dryslopes Championships (SUDS). SUDS is a Scottish institution, and is the first major event to bring all the Scottish Universities together for a day of dendex goodness, and a night of partying. This year’s SUDS will feature an off-site Rail Jam, in association with SNO!zone. This is the first time this has been done for SUDS, and it’s going to be HUGE! Check out the SUDS page for details!
In the pipeline for this year are the Scottish Universities Snowsports Championships (inconveniently also under the acronym SUSC). This is the Scottish championships, hosted in the snowy highlands. Details are yet to be confirmed, but watch this space for more!
In addition to hosting kickass parties and sick events, most of the SUDS committee have experience either running a Snowsports club, or being part of the committee. This means if any of you are planning to start up a club, or just have a question about running your clubs, or anything to do with university snowsports in general, chances are someone will be able to help you!

This year’s committee decided to re-brand and reinvent SUSC. The new website and the biggest and best SUDS so far are just the start. If you want to get involved, let us know! We always need help from keen and dedicated snowhounds!
